“I joined Wix 8 years ago in our Kickstart program. I learned quickly that Wix has a way of constantly pushing you to learn more, whether it’s diving into new technical challenges or taking on leadership roles. My biggest passions are collaborating with remarkable individuals and making the technical switch between big-picture design work and diving into the nitty-gritty of production challenges.”

“I’m a former Facebook Mobile Engineer turned Education Specialist, who’s passionate about empowering new talent through mentorship and hands-on learning experiences. I started my journey at Wix as a Frontend Developer, and now I’m leading some of our amazing programs and bootcamps.”

“I started my career as a developer 14 years ago and have been in various developer and managerial roles. I really enjoy finding solutions to problems and working with other people. My advice to engineers considering Wix Boost is to do it; joining a Wix program is the best way to get thorough training and foster friendships with colleagues that have similar experiences to you. There are big advantages, from creating lasting friendships to gaining visibility to your guild from day 1.”

“I'm passionate about building robust backend solutions and helping others grow. I joined the company about 7 years ago in the applicative infrastructure teams, diving deep into foundational systems. Now, I’m crafting onboarding curricula, mentoring new talent, and ensuring everyone starts their journey here on the right foot. Basically, I'm all about strong servers and stronger teams!”

What’s the Wix Boost curriculum?

(01)

Wix Boost is split up into frontend and backend technology tracks. Program participants of both tracks will be immersed in an onboarding bootcamp that is designed to prepare new Wix Engineers with all the knowledge and resources they need to set them up for success. The training includes learning all about Wix’s variety of products, best practices for building software at a large scale, working in an extremely dynamic production environment and, most importantly, hands-on mentorship with leading Wix Engineers. The onboarding also includes in-depth exposure to all of our internal Wix tools, developed to make our development life better (and easier).

Who should apply for Wix Boost?

(02)

The program is designed for developers with 2–4 years of relevant experience who want to be part of Wix, and join our ever-evolving engineering journey. We are looking for open-minded applicants, who are passionate about what they do, eager to learn and are not afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. If you’re ready to take the next step in your career as an engineer, we want to hear from you!

What if my experience level doesn’t fit the program requirements?

(03)

If you have less than 2 years of experience as an engineer, we advise you to consider applying to one of our other programs that may be better suited for you and your skillset. Check out our other upcoming Wix Enter and Wix Kickstart programs and see if one of them is right for you. You’re also welcome to look for relevant opportunities on our careers site.

If you have more than 4 years of experience, you’re still welcome to apply to this program, however, a different opportunity at Wix may be more relevant for you. Check out our careers site and see if any of our open positions would be a good match for you.

How do I know if frontend or backend is the best match for me?

(04)

Each path has its own exciting projects, obstacles to navigate and opportunities to grow and collaborate. Whether you prefer user-facing work or elegant architectures, Wix offers unique possibilities for all engineers to specialize within their true passions.

If you’re not sure which is right for you, check out our blog post: FED or BED?

When and where will Wix Boost take place?

(05)

Wix Boost begins on May 11th, and will take place at the Wix Campus in Tel Aviv, five days a week. At the end of the program, engineers will be placed in teams at either the Tel Aviv or Be’er Sheva offices.

What does it mean to be a part of Wix Boost?

(06)

As a Wix Boost participant, you’re a Wix employee from day one. During this onboarding experience, you'll also take part in projects and training that will help you feel fully immersed in our culture – and we have a very fun culture.

What’s expected of me during the program?

(07)

Participants should be eager to learn – from Wix Boost mentors and from their fellow peers. We expect all new employees to take advantage of the mentoring and feedback provided, to attend all weekly individual meetings with the Wix Boost team and to do their best to absorb all the onboarding and training information they’ll receive in this unique opportunity.

When is the last date to apply?

(08)

Applications are open from February 9–10, 2025.

What if my application is rejected?

(09)

It’s important to keep in mind that even if you don’t get accepted to Wix Boost, our door at Wix is always open. This does not affect your chances for future opportunities. At any time, you can apply to open positions on our careers site or to future programs.
